We sell a range of essential and useful products and have long opening hours to suit both people who travel outside of the village to work as well as those who

Asparagus season season traditionally will be ended on the Summer Solstice! Not long now.
Primarily grown in the south & east of England no wonder it so good for us & we are able to get it for Monks Eleigh from a local supplier.

Traditionally running from around St Georges Day to the Summer Solstice - the British Asparagus Season is here. Grown primarily in South and East England it's tasty boiled, roasted, grilled or BBQ'd. A good source of nutrients like folate, vitamins C & K & providing potassium, it's known to improve blood flow to working muscles & can lower blood pressure.
