If it were your responsibility to build/recruit a committee for a village project (such as Kilsby Village Shop), how would you do it?

Beyond the usual "put it on facebook and hope someone volunteers".

How would you find the right people, get them interested and persuade them to get involved?

We have had a report via Facebook of a very fancy looking siamese cat just up the road from the shop(left from shop when coming out). It ran into a bush. It didnt have any road sense what so ever, is it lost? Posting on behalf of worried villager …

We know it’s easy to jump in the car and head to the supermarket, but every time you pop into the shop, you’re helping keep our little village shop going.
