Najma Extra Dry Prosecco NV
Situated in the foothills of the Dolomites, the Najma vineyards are all family owned and farmed organically by Bettina Cichellero and her son Andrea. Their Extra Dry cuvée is a beautifully crisp expression of the Glera grape, oodles of peach and apricot with a soft vibrant finish.
Gruner Veltliner Wagramterrassen 2023, Wimmer-Czerny
A firm favourite at the Kings Head, the Gruner Veltliner is grown on the famous Austrian Loess soil which gives it a lovely minerality coupled with spice, red apple and greengage. Winemaker Han’s is big in the world of biodynamic viticulture, so this is totally organic and weighs in at a civilised 11.5%.
The Mayfly Syrah 2022, Domaine Lauzeta
This is a limited ‘Mayfly’ edition from our friends at Domaine Lauzeta in the historic region of Saint Chinian in the Languedoc. A classic blend of old vine Syrah, Carignan and Grenache, this is incredibly fresh but with some solid Southern French muscle - black cherry, damson, spice, leather, herby notes of the garrigue, all topped off with a festive green wax seal.
