We have some great expressions from Seidear, I closing Fyvie, Plus garden Abbey and Fraser - and indication of the gardens the apples were received from to use to make this delicious drinks.

Put simply, the Cask Craft range from Murray McDavid is amongst the best value for money whisky out there.

We have a soft spot for the Sherry finished Linkwood, but we also have some great drams from Inchgower, Auchroisk and Benrinnes as well.

Whisky and History go hand in hand like cheese & biscuits or an Indiana Jones movie and a banging soundtrack.

So it's always very exciting when something pops up that unites the two - like the discovery of a 200 year old illicit still.

That's what happened in March this year, on the Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve. Whisky and history buffs united in a shared enthusiasm for Scotland's past.

We are thrille to have the Head of Archaeology for the National Trust for Scotland, Derek Alexander on our Blether this evening to talk about what this discovery means, and what can it tell us about our illicit past that we didn't already know.

Certainly one for the enthusiast who loves to go beyond the bottle, we're really excited to chat to Derek and bring history and whisky together.

September 2021 — me, a bottle of Foghouse Gin, in the building that inspired the brand and the start of something I’d been dreaming about for some time.

This photo was taken as we launched our very first bottles, complete with the original Foghouse design. I still remember that mix of pride, nerves, and excitement, wondering where this little idea might go.

Since then, Foghouse has grown into so much more than just a gin. It’s become a hub in the centre of Inverurie — a place for people to meet, celebrate, discover something new, and feel part of the Foghouse story. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.

Now, Foghouse Gin is about to begin its next chapter with a redesigned label — same gin, fresh new look, and a design that helps celebrate everything Foghouse has become.

Before that happens, there are just 20 bottles left with the original design. Once they’re gone, that first bottle will officially become part of Foghouse history.

So, here’s to where it all started — and to what’s coming next.
