DUNCAN TAYLOR SCOTCH WHISKY RELEASE BOWMORE RAREST RESERVE 1982

From Islay’s oldest working distillery, specialist whisky company Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky, has released a Bowmore 1982 from their Rarest Reserve portfolio.

The journey of the 42-year-old Bowmore single malt began in October 1982 and has been meticulously matured in an ex-Pedro Ximenez cask. The deep, resinous, gold-coloured whisky is one of the oldest Bowmores the company has released to date and yields a strength of 50.8%.

The ‘Rarest Reserve’ collection is a series of exclusive expressions from the company’s most revered casks. Presented in a striking and elegant gold bar and bottled at 100ml, the packaging design was released for the first time last year, for their 33 and 52-year-old Macallan.

This UK exclusive release is Isle of Raasay unpeated spirit made with Concerto barley grown on Arbikie Highland Estate, and matured in Ex Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey Casks.
