The Spirits Embassy A haven for internationally enjoyed Spirits, especially the finest Scotch Whisky. Alcohol distillation is a process which goes back as far as the Middle ages.

Knowledge of this process has been passed on from generation to generation and community to community. Differences in locally abundant ingredients and a willingness to bring something new to the table has contributed greatly to the wealth in worldwide spirits. The Spirits Embassy recognises that there is a huge variety out there. A Ledaig from Tobermory Distillery matured in rum and tequila casks, combining maritime peat with tropical sweetness, oak spice, and a gentle herbaceous warmth.

Bunnahabhain 15 Year Old White Port Feis Ile 2026 An Cuan Garbh, finished in white port casks from the Douro Valley. Layers of orchard fruit, peach and apricot with candied citrus, honeyed almonds, toasted malt, and soft spice.

A vibrant Speyside expression with a rich twist

This 8 Year Old Aultmore has been finished in a Pedro Ximénez Octave cask, a small Octave cask intensifies maturation and brings a deeper layer of sweetness and richness to the distillery’s naturally fresh character.

The result is a beautifully balanced dram: syrupy sweetness leads the way, followed by fresh juicy peaches and ripe tart apricots. Classic tangy breakfast marmalade runs through the palate, lifted by indulgent notes of rich buttery Danish pastries.

A closer look at this exceptional release 🥃

A 16 Year Old Caol Ila single malt, carefully finished in a Ruby Port Octave cask part of The Octave Collection by Duncan Taylor. The Octave process uses smaller casks, which intensify the interaction between spirit and wood, bringing greater depth, richness, and concentration to the whisky over the finishing period.

The result is a beautifully layered dram. Caol Ila’s signature coastal peat and gentle smoke are elevated by the Ruby Port influence, bringing rich sweet citrus and dark berry tones. Beneath it all, notes of flint, wet stone, and maritime minerality keep it grounded in its Islay character.
