Our two Port Masterclasses went down a storm this afternoon. Everything was showing so well but those three 2024 Vintage Ports were truly something else!!!

W**e & Crisps, 2026 style. 6 different, delicious crisp based tapas matched to 6 amazing w**es. I can think of few things better than crisps and w**e. Sadly I couldn’t be The Sportsman as I’m away in California doing some, er, work.

I did however get to do my own crisp and w**e pairing. Herbs de Provence and sea salt crisps, freshly made at the w**ery. Paired with Cardinale Cabernet Sauvignon, a snip at £320 a bottle. Were my efforts in 34 degree heat and stunning countryside appreciated? Check the next picture to find out the quick answer I got back from the Sportsman.
