The Hop Cavern

Right then, some important information regarding the future of the Hop Cavern incoming!
Myself and Helen opened The Hop Cavern back in 2021 and over the last 5 and a half years we've built a great social space for all our customers to enjoy as well as selling some amazing b**rs along the the way. But earlier this year things changed a bit and it left me wanting to spend more time with my family, and so I started to look for someone suitable to take over The Hop Cavern and move it forward with new ideas.
This is where Chris steps in! Some of you will have already met Chris and for those of you that haven't then don't be shy, and pop in to see him. Chris is taking the reins of the Hop Cavern from the 1st November and I want you all to give him the support and amazing custom you guys have given me over the last 5 and a half years.
So, due to an unplanned (to me) break, this weekend will be my last behind the counter/bar at the Hop 😬 but we're making a full day of it Saturday so if you can swing by to say goodbye then it would be great to see you.
My actual last day will be Thursday 29th and Chris will be flinging the doors open on the 2nd November.
It won't be the last you see if me as there's good chance you'll see me on the other side of the bar, making the most of the b**r Chris will have on offer.
So once again, thanks guys for the last 5 and a half years and I'll see you on the other side 🙏🏻

Reminder that we are closed today but we're back from 12pm tomorrow and this Saturday we have Surj in the building serving up his signature Rice bowls (you may have tried these at the Shire Hall b**r festival and if you didn't, then you missed out).
Surj will be serving from 2pm and all bowls will be available for takeaway as well - accompanied by some great b**rs obvs!!
Food served from 2pm til 9pm or until sold out!

A gentle reminder that we will be closing at 5.30pm this evening as we will be moving across for the evening session of the Howden Shire Hall b**r festival where we will be serving up a selection of cans and bottles.
Hopefully we'll see loads of you there!

There's a few changes to our hours this week.
Thursday we will be closed for the day.
Saturday we will be closing earlier at 5.30pm as I'll be heading to the Shire Hall to man the stall at the First Shire Hall b**r festival for the remainder of the second session.
Tickets for this are almost gone so if you want to see us there with some awesome breweries then be quick!
