A little late to the party,
but this year deserves the words…

2025 has been monumental for Siândy and me. This was the year that an idea turned into something real, something you could hold, crack open, and share it has honestly been one of the most surreal and humbling experiences of my life.
Knowing that something I created has been part of moments together, laughter, conversations, good times, honestly means more than I can put into words. None of it would have been possible without the support, encouragement, belief, and love you have shown along the way. I'm forever grateful to everyone who backed us, cheered us on, bought a can, shared a post, or simply wished us well.

And this is only the beginning.

2026 is already shaping up to be bigger, bolder, and better in every way. More ideas, more growth, more memories to be made.

So here's to what's coming next, raise a can to the journey so far, and to everything ahead. 🍻

What a 48hrs that was!

Taste Wales 2025 was one of those moments that’ll stay with me for a very long time.

We went in with 18 meetings scheduled… and somehow left with more than double that, orders from over half of them, and conversations with some of the most genuine and passionate people across supermarkets, wholesalers, hospitality, and retail.

To everyone who took the time to meet, taste, and share their enthusiasm for what we’re building - thank you. The feedback, encouragement, and belief in Black Tar Brewing Co. have been incredible.

A huge thank you to Food & Drink Wales for organising an event that genuinely changes lives for small producers, and to the phenomenal Cywain team, who were somehow clocking up 35,000+ steps a day supporting us all - always with a smile. You’re absolute stars.

Now it’s time to roll up our sleeves and deliver every one of those new orders over the next couple of weeks.

Keep a keen eye out for Siândy which will be right across Wales in places we all go, even when we’re there to go further afield 🛫✈️👀

☀️ High pressure’s in charge this week, the last of the year’s sunshine before the log burners, rain and dark evenings take over.

It’s the perfect moment to cut the lawn one last time, tidy up the garden and light the fire pit for a final salute to summer. And if you’re raising a glass, make it a Siândy, a nod to the sun that’s been good to us this year.

⏳ Less than 3 weeks to go until Taste Wales 2025 (22–23 October) at ICC Wales and things are shaping up fast!

We’re already confirmed to meet with 4 supermarkets, several wholesalers, and some seriously impressive independents - with another 12 meetings still pending 🤯.

The interest in Siândy has been incredible, and it’s clear that buyers are ready for a premium, beer-led craft shandy with provenance, purpose, and a real point of difference. 🍋🍺

We can’t wait to showcase Bach, Haze & Shore as Rising Stars 🌟, and to share our journey so far with some of the biggest names in food and drink.
