The shop will be closed from 10.30am for staff to attend the funeral service

The funeral service of the late Neil Mackinnon 5 Urgha and Edinburgh will take place tomorrow (9th October) at 11 AM. The Service will be live-streamed on YouTube on the Congregration's YouTube channel. Please search for Tarbert Church of Scotland Isle of Harris. In their grievous loss we as a congregation and community continue to remember Neil's mother Mary Ann, his brother Duncan and sister-in-law Nina and the rest of the Mackinnon family in our prayers.

👋 Lovely to meet today with Queen's Nurse Mairi Smith, who is a Macmillan Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist/Team Lead working in the Western Isles.

The artwork behind us here in the Scottish Parliament celebrates 100 great Scottish women - and Mairi spotted a reference to her own great auntie Murdina! 🔍

Tonight at the Scottish Parliament there will be a reception celebrating the 150 community nurses and midwives that have been awarded the contemporary Queen’s Nurse title since its reintroduction in 2017, including Mairi. 👏
