Last night we were invited to the launch of by at It is always great smaller, artisan producers who share our values and, as many of you know, everything we include in our hampers and gifts are sourced locally from Herts and Essex..

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, got to try not only the Spice Collections but also some delicious wines and cocktails from

Some of you may remember that a few months ago we were honoured to be chosen as one of the Theo Paphitis winners

We’re very excited to be heading to the SBS Regional Bootcamp in London tomorrow and looking forward to a day of learning, inspiration and connecting with other brilliant small businesses.

Emma will be out all day but never fear… Rob and Fig will be holding the fort here at the office. As always, the hampers will still be packed, ribbons will be printed, and Fig will no doubt be supervising with her usual enthusiasm.

Now all we need is the rain to clear up – how can this be May?!

A local commercial cleaning company recently asked us to create bespoke gifts for their clients. We worked together to design something everyone in the office could enjoy, including options for a variety of dietary needs. Each gift was of course finished with ribbon printed in-house in their brand colours with their logo and, as you can see, the feedback was wonderful.

We’ve always believed that gifting doesn’t have to be extravagant. Even a simple ribboned chocolate bar can make someone feel valued and keep your brand front of mind.

Meet the Producer Monday.

After a week off for Easter we are back and today we have a Meat the Producer.

🐖 The Greek Farmer

Although not our biggest seller year round, The Greek Farmer absolutely flies at Christmas. Their multi award winning cured meats and salami are made on Tony’s farm in Hertfordshire using free range British pork — smoked, cured and crafted with love.

We’re especially excited about their newest launch: Club Salami, air dried salami snack packs arriving very soon. We’ll definitely be adding them to our range.

Office favourites? The pork belly thins or the chorizo, which makes the most delicious risotto.

We are a little late today with our Meet the Producer Monday!

One of our most local producers based just a few miles from our office is The Coffee Officina a roastery run by Rory and Marcella, whose passion for exceptional coffee shines through everything they do. We include their coffee in many of our hampers, but we also have several customers who buy their 2kg bags for personal use which we absolutely love.

Rory, Marcella and the team champion female producers and cooperatives, and their focus on taste, quality and sustainability fits perfectly with our values.

We use the Todosantarita in our office so if you ever pop in for a coffee, that’s exactly what you’ll be served.

Meet the Producer Monday....

🍢 The Kebab Club

Based in Southend, Essex, The Kebab Club is on a mission to bring authentic Turkish flavours into home cooking.

We met Elizabeth and Yuksel at several Farmers’ Markets right at the start of their – and our - journey and, after tasting their products we had to add them to the range. Their chicken shish marinade is a staple for the team and we regularly use both at home and in the office.

It’s also one of our most viral products. Our biggest walk in order was 16 jars! We even have two of the no longer produced 1.2kg jars available for any superfans wanting to stock up before summer — just £20 each.

Our top tip: pour the marinade into ice cube bags, freeze, and use whenever needed.

This week’s Meet the Producer Monday is extra special. Riverside Spirits is where our journey began back in 2020.

Based in Manchester and run by Emma’s cousin Hugh, they’re our only non local producer — and a huge part of our story.

Our customers love their range, with Dark Chocolate Whisky topping the charts in 2025. Emma’s personal favourite is the Passion Fruit Gin, especially mixed with sparkling wine.

Next on our Meet the Producer Monday....

Today we’re celebrating Cupcake Daisy , run by the wonderful Hazel. Emma met her at a Rolls Royce event in 2021 and they’ve been friends ever since.

Hazel’s freshly made treats are always exceptional, and she somehow manages to accommodate our last minute changes during peak periods. This year our Florentine orders went through the roof at the last minute — customers were fighting over the last boxes!

If we had to choose a favourite, it would be her award winning Florentines. They’re simply sublime.

Today we’re celebrating International Women’s Day by honouring some of the incredible women who inspire us both personally and professionally.

Ivy – Emma’s Burmese Grandma, who carved out a new life for her family in the UK.
Gwen – Emma’s English Nanny, who bravely drove ambulances during the Blitz.
Sylvia – Emma’s Mum, who never stopped fighting for Lucy when doctors said she would never speak or achieve more than “reading The Sun”.
Lucy – who didn’t grow up to read The Sun, but Shakespeare. Now a Copywriter, thriving and highly respected in her field.

We’re also lucky to know so many phenomenal women in business—leaders, founders, supporters and changemakers. There are far too many to list, but a special shout‑out to Karen Campbell and Michelle Ovens from Small Business Britain and F:Entrepreneur , Stephanie Marshall from ABCS UK , Hazel Arnold from Cupcake Daisy , and so many more.

To all the strong, brilliant women out there: you rock. Keep being fabulous, keep achieving great things, and keep striving to make the world a better place.
