Rosé 2024: 100% Oxfordshire pinot noir, aromatic and interesting

Coral Rosé 2024: Essex chardonnay and Pinot N blend. Crisp and delightful.

We're rosé-all-year-round kind of people! 🍷

BUT

Summer very definitely still feels here this weekend, for those who prefer quaffing outside ☀️

Both available at Cooper's Markets on Great Missenden High Street, Sunday 6th, 10am til 3pm

With nutritionally deficient vines that hadn't been tended all that much over the last couple of years, they were really showing signs of stress in these drought conditions. 🍁

We've taken the somewhat disappointing decision to drop a load of our fruit, which means we could be limited in the grapes that we get from our Dreaming Squires vineyard this year. ✂️

In the interest of the health of the vines for the next few years, we felt, after taking some advice, that it was the best decision all round. 🏥

We can't just think about the current year, got to think about the future as well if we're actually going to make a success of this small part of Vyn's approach to w**emaking. 🍷

Wow, what a day yesterday at W**E CAR BOOT 🍷☀️

Didn't really have chance to take photos that do things justice, but I think we spoke to somewhere near 1000 people who came through Coal Drops Yard.

Thank you so much to those of you who follow/ know Vyn Dene and came to see us! ❤️

And it stills surprises me how many people don't know we make w**e in England (not just Vyn Dene w**e - generally)!

Great to see UK Vineyard Guide flying the flag, and meet Beare Green Winery

Thanks to all involved - the organisers, the team, the other stalls and the visitors!

No rest today though, summer vineyard jobs calling!

Wonderful to get a dry day and a chance to really thin out and tidy up.

Id been worried about all the rain during flowering (based on others reporting early appearances of stylus). But relieved to see hardly any open flowers yet, so may have dodged a bullet with the wet weather.

Treated to an aerial display by a hunting kestrel (beyond my photography skills to capture well)

And rounded off with a chimichurri rump steak BBQ

Enjoying a cold b**r or two in the garden after a busy and surprisingly sunny market today.

These new creations from are a wonderful cross between a New England IPA and a Home Counties Pale Ale. Citrusy and tropical fruit hops but with a real texture. Delicious.
