We are open tomorrow 9am-4pm with the post office open for cash withdrawals and any other post office needs (like a director who has to post their mums birthday present which will be late….sorry mum!) we wish everyone a fabulous gala and thank all the volunteers who work so hard to make it happen

We need your help!

Next Friday, we have Michael Wolverson from Plunkett UK visiting the shop, to explore the foundation's role in supporting the shop as an existing Plunkett member.

Michael is going to take some photographs and videos of the shop and the village, and would also like to meet with some of our customers to gain some insight on what Barr Community Shop & Cafe means to you.

We would love your help in showcasing what the shop means, and how it affects the local community; so if you're comfortable with it, we would love it if you dropped in on Friday 23rd to share your thoughts on the shop and cafe.

Barr Chess Club was enjoying the sunshine yesterday! They gather every Tuesday at 7pm at the shop for a friendly game, feel free to join!
