Some of you may know that my youngest daughter spent 125 days in the RVI NICU and QE SCBU after being born 24 weeks premature.

This year she will once again be running the Mini Great North Run to raise vital funds for the whos essential work support families across North East Hospitals, buys much needed equipment and champions sick and premature babies.

We are hoping to smash the target this year to support those that helped us so much.

📣 WE’RE HIRING! JOIN TEAM YOLKER 🥚

We’re looking for someone to join The Yolker team, helping us produce AND sell our Yolkers.

This isn’t just a kitchen job — you’ll be getting stuck into everything from production and packing to markets, events and selling to our lovely customers!

THE ROLE
🥚 20+ hours per week
📅 Up to 5 days per week
⏰ Must be flexible across 7 days
🚗 Full clean driving licence essential
🧑‍🍳 Level 2 Food Safety preferred, but don’t worry if you haven’t got it — this can be completed with us.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
🥚 Assisting with Yolker production
📦 Packing & preparing orders
🚚 Helping with loading/unloading and event set-up
🛍️ Selling at markets & events
🙋 Dealing with customers and representing The Yolker
🧹 And all the glamorous cleaning that comes with making thousands of Scotch Eggs 😂

We need someone who is reliable, hardworking, flexible and happy to muck in. Some days you’ll be in production, other days you could be out selling — so no two weeks are quite the same!
