Tartan Tuesday featuring… Neidpath Tartan!

This beautiful tartan tells the story of our landscape:
💙 Navy blue for the River Tweed
🌲 Fir green for the Scots pines on the hills
🖤 Black for the shadows of 13th-century Neidpath Castle
🌅 Burgundy for the glow of the setting sun
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 And a Royal blue overcheck to echo the Saltire, Scotland’s national flag.

We went on the circular 7½-mile walk along the River Tweed, passing right by the majestic Neidpath Castle. What a gorgeous place we’re lucky enough to call home — the Scottish Borders at its very best!
