This Thursday, something truly powerful is happening in our community.
The FTD brothers are taking on an incredible marathon through our county—day 11 of an epic endurance challenge to run 32 marathons in 32 consecutive days across every county in Ireland. And remarkably, this all began immediately after Jordan completed the London Marathon carrying a 25kg washing machine on his back.
Why? To shine a light on dementia—a disease that cruelly took their mum far too young, and one that both brothers now know they carry the gene for, specifically frontotemporal dementia.
This isn’t just about miles on a road. It’s about courage, loss, awareness, and an unbreakable determination to make a difference.
Let’s show them what Enniskillen is made of. Line the streets, cheer them on, and lift them with the energy and support only our community can give. Every clap, every cheer, every familiar face will help carry them forward.
Whether you can spare five minutes or walk a stretch alongside them, your presence matters.
Let’s make this a day they’ll never forget—and a message that travels far beyond our town.
See you out there this Thursday 💪
