What an amazing day and what a class act the FTD Brothers and their backup teams including their Dad are…….huge shout out to our very own Alan Taylor who completed 13 miles of the Marathon and joined on for a few extra at the Finnish 👏👏👏….and to all the runners young and old, experienced and not so experienced👏👏👏, it was the most wholesome and uplifting day I’ve experienced for quite some time and what these guys with their own dementia diagnosis and prognosis are achieving in terms of awareness and fundraising is both humbling and inspirational. F@&k Dementia!!

C’MON FERMANAGH!!

C’mon Fermanagh!!! 💚

Let’s do ourselves proud tomorrow—stand out and be counted anywhere along the Enniskillen Marathon route for the legends that are the FTD Brothers!

It’s Day 11 of 32 marathons across Ireland and Day 12 of 33 consecutive marathons in 33 days—an unbelievable effort to raise awareness and vital funds for dementia research.

This cause is deeply personal. The lads cared for their mum, who tragically passed away from dementia in her 50s. Now, they’re running not just in her memory, but with the full knowledge that they too carry the dementia gene and face a similar future.

Two of the most selfless young men you’ll ever come across—bringing hope, positivity, and purpose to every town they run through.

Let’s show them what Fermanagh is made of 💪

This Thursday, something truly powerful is happening in our community.

The FTD brothers are taking on an incredible marathon through our county—day 11 of an epic endurance challenge to run 32 marathons in 32 consecutive days across every county in Ireland. And remarkably, this all began immediately after Jordan completed the London Marathon carrying a 25kg washing machine on his back.

Why? To shine a light on dementia—a disease that cruelly took their mum far too young, and one that both brothers now know they carry the gene for, specifically frontotemporal dementia.

This isn’t just about miles on a road. It’s about courage, loss, awareness, and an unbreakable determination to make a difference.

Let’s show them what Enniskillen is made of. Line the streets, cheer them on, and lift them with the energy and support only our community can give. Every clap, every cheer, every familiar face will help carry them forward.

Whether you can spare five minutes or walk a stretch alongside them, your presence matters.

Let’s make this a day they’ll never forget—and a message that travels far beyond our town.

See you out there this Thursday 💪

Good luck Jordan & Cian, Fermanagh is waiting for you 💚💜

This Thursday, we are honoured to welcome two inspiring young men into Fermanagh, Jordan and Cian, the FTD Brothers.

After losing their mum to Frontotemporal Dementia, they are taking on 32 marathons across the 32 counties of Ireland — raising awareness and carrying her memory every single step.

They begin their Fermanagh run at 10:00am on Thursday 7th May from Enniskillen — and we want to give them a welcome they’ll never forget.

💜 Wear purple
💜 Come out and cheer
💜Bring your friends

Let’s come out in our droves and show them the legendary Fermanagh welcome we are known for🫂🏃‍♂️👏

Enniskillen Running Club will be sharing full route details on Monday, check out their page 👌🏻
