Joining Joel Walker on Saturday's show at The Bat and Ball Micropub in Mottingham is one of Comedy Rumblings' regular acts and one of our favourite Americans, Brooke Hoerr!

Brooke emerged from the sketch and improvisation clubs of Chicago, including Second City, iO Theatre, and The Annoyance. In 2019, he launched the London-based ‘Big Smoke Comedy’, a show combining stand-up comedy with an improvised finale featured in the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and at BOXPARK Croydon. He has won the Blackout competition at Up-The-Creek in Greenwich, several improvisation ‘Cage Match’s at The Free Association Theatre, and been listed with one of ‘The 40 Funniest Jokes At The 2023 Edinburgh Fringe’ by The Telegraph. He has performed as far East as Belgrade (Ben Akiba) and as far West as Peoria (Jukebox).

Every one at The Bat And Ball Micropub would just like to take a moment to thank all of our amazing customers that frequent our little haven.

Our doors have now been open to everyone for just over a year and a half now and it has been an AMAZING experience.

We have all met some wonderful new people and even become friends, which is what the micropub scene is all about ❤️

A customer said to us the other day “thank you for creating this wonderful place and adding to our socializing scene in our area, we are truly blessed”

A polite reminder that this evening is our first comedy night at The Bat And Ball Micropub Comedy Rumblings

This is a ticketed event

Prepaid tickets will be available until 2pm today. Tickets will also be available on the door.

If you are coming down for the evening please be aware that inside the pub will be off limits from 7:30pm as this is a ticketed event.

You may still enjoy our outside space with a table service in place for you ladies and gentlemen.

(obviously you will be allowed to use the toilets that we don’t have) 😉
