The last time Scotland hit the World Cup stage, this whisky was just settling into its cask. Now it’s stepping out and onto the pitch. We’re celebrating with a special Two to One release, Cask No. 66.268: We’ll be dramming!

This is an ultra-small batch drawn from just two casks: after 25 years, one was transferred to a first-fill American oak oloroso hogshead, while the other remained in bourbon before the two were married at bottling. The result? A surefire winner in our rich Smoky & Fruity flavour profile and a dram that’s sure to warm the senses, however well we do in the World Cup.

Available today, Monday, 1 June in the UK and EU.

The SMWS has scored a belter with none other than Pat Nevin, who has been named as The Scotsman’s star columnist for the 2026 World Cup.

Former Scotland star and top pundit Pat celebrated his signing with the Society’s A Belter for America. Our special edition 35cl half bottle commemorates Scotland’s qualification for the World Cup for the first time in 28 years.

Cask No. 156.9: Breakfast in Seville is a 10-year-old Lowland treat.

The Panel said: "Our noses meandered between Seville orange marmalade on toast, mint seltzer and dried apricots served on a cool slab of beeswax. The palate delivered bitter lemon on fudge chews, with a lemonade ice cream float and peppery ground ginger."
