Happy Ardbeg Day! If you are looking for a bottle of this year's Ardbeg Day release, Ardbeg Dolce, pop in while stocks last. We also have a small amount of sample stock and free Ardbeg glasses with purchase (while stocks last).

This special release brings together classic Ardbeg single malt matured in bourbon casks with whisky influenced by sweet Sicilian Marsala wine casks.

The result is a richer, sweeter take on Ardbeg’s unmistakable Islay style. Expect the distillery’s signature peat smoke, coastal character and citrus brightness, balanced by notes of apricot, orange marmalade, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and dried fruit.

We love all the distilleries on Islay, but there has been something extra rewarding about watching Kilchoman grow over the past 20 years. Their development as a family owned distillery has been remarkable. We look forward each annual release, and limited edition. Plus their standard range is very tasty.

We also really appreciate the details with each release. This Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2026 is made up of 24 casks, 21 of which are first fill sherry casks, 3 are refill. All chosen from the Miguel Martin sherry bodega. This is Kilchoman's chosen bodega, for high quality, consistent casks.

Matured in classic bourbon casks, with intriguing Italian Marsala casks in the mix. The Marsala casks bring apricot, juicy citrus and delightful spicy to Ardbeg's signature smoke. Hopefully the Scottish summer will give us a few sunny days to enjoy this limited release.

We don't often see whiskies aged in Marsala wine casks, we are excited to try this!

For the final day of the Campbeltown Whisky Festival, we have to recommend one of our go to Campbeltown drams, the Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt. This blended malt whisky, created by J&A Mitchell of Springbank Distillers Ltd, is a lovely maritime whisky at a great value. It is named after the sea loch at Campbeltown, and possibly to bring a little reality to the folk song of the same name (Oh! Campbeltown Loch, Ah wish ye were whisky!).

A little bit unusual in that it combines all the malts from the Campbeltown region, this bottling is a dram filled with honey, fruit, a little smoke and a slightly nutty sweetness. We always try to make sure it is in stock!

We are really excited to get our new Royal Mile Whiskies Small Batch releases in our shop. Not only do we have these as 70cl bottles, we also have them as 20cls and 5cls. We haven't put these cute smaller bottles on our website yet, so pop in and visit us to get these gifty drams.

These 3 single malts showcases their distillery styles excellently. The Laphroaig is full of smoke and coastal notes, the Glen Elgin has lots of malty sweetness, and the Orkney is a balance of sweet, light smoke and fruit. Another fantastic whisky to try over the Campbeltown Festival Week is Kilkerran 8 Year Old Bourbon 2026: https://rmwlink.co/kilkerran8https://rmwlink.co/kilkerran8
Kilkerran is the name of the single malt distilled at the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown. Aged for 8 years in bourbon casks, this 2026 release is a chance to experience Springbank's sister distillery in its purest form. Bourbon casks tend to have a lighter influence on on the spirit, allowing their house style to come through. Made by the Springbank team at the Glengyle distillery, Kilkerran is only distilled for 3 months of the year!
