Thanks to our community for your suggestions - a local handyman has answered our call for help! Local electrician and plumber Pete Wood of Pipes and Wires, local plasterer Dave Ward and local painter Gary Cuddon have made enormous progress: the space already looks brighter and more welcoming. More painting this week in advance of new safe and level flooring, leading up to this weekend's installation of new shop fittings. Stay tuned for news of our re-opening date first week November - can't wait!

Thursday Cake Day returns the first week November, along withall of your local favourites including fresh local free-range eggs, local honey, handmade marmalade, Dark Horse roasted coffees, Kings Pear Juice, Style Acre's freshly-made out-of-this-world New York Chocolate Chip Cookies and new, soon-to-be favourite local products as well.

REMINDER**East Hagbourne Community Shop is closing for renovations from 1pm today, Saturday 17th October, re-opening first week November. Stock up now on popular hard-to-find local favorites Kings Piece Pear Juice, Dark Horse Roasted coffees, Pie-licious handmade vegetarian and regular pies, Calnan's sausages, local honey or eggs and handmade marmalade to tide you over our 2-week renovation. Help us clear out and help yourself to some fantastic local products!

Apologies in advance if your favourites are not available as we run down our stock in advance of our remodel. Open today 9am-12:30pm at 114 New Road

LAST WEEK BEFORE RENOVATIONS** Pre-order Natural Bread Company's fabulous artisan breads, baguettes, pain au chocolates or delicious pastries by 4pm today for collection on Saturday 17th Oct before 12:30pm. The bread freezes very well and can be ordered pre-sliced so you can stock up to carry your through our 2-week remodel until we reopen first week November!
