Order by Wednesday evening for delivery to the shop on Saturday. Send an email to [email protected] or sign up on the board in the shop by 4pm.

They can supply loaves as medium or thick sliced, packaged in sealed recyclable plastic bread bags. (20p extra). Let us know if you want your bread sliced.

Simplify your Bank Holiday weekend plans, and stock up your freezer with local goodies for a relaxed dinner or barbeque! Wantage-based Calnan's award-winning Oxford or Cumberland sausages, Chocolates and all-beef patties are a great option, as are Henley-based Pielicious's award-winning pies or high-quality fish all from our freezer. Don't forget breakfast: Nettlebed coffee roaster Dark Horse, local free-range eggs, our own local homemade marmalade and local honey to accompany Heritage bakery breads and pastries. Lemon drizzles, brownies, carrot cakes, or victoria sponges - the selections change weekly, and with limited availability, these magical creatures fly off the shelves, so stop in early to choose your favorite!

Need something different for the weekend ?

Try soughdough or yeast breads from the Natural Bread Company, a local, family run artisan bakery. Many different loaves, baguettes and rolls available (see attached list) as well as sweet buns and delicious pastries.

A selection of soughdough breads and other breads in the shop this Saturday 22nd August plus delicious Danish pastries and buns.
Supplied by the Natural Bread Company, an independent, family run artisan bakery based in Oxford. They do a wide range of breads and pastries, please see brochure in the shop or download here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hpdJL4s64-qr_nJWScKUaB8OpuZIYfmh/view?usp=drive_link

Please note you can order bakery items from the shop by emailing to [email protected] or sign up on the form now in the shop. Orders must be received by 4pm Wednesday for Saturday collection.

The bakery will supply either medium or thick sliced loaves, packaged in sealed recyclable plastic bread bags. (20p extra). Let me know if you want this service. This may be useful if you want to freeze the bread and take some out at a time, or you can cut the bread into sections before freezing. Unlike supermarket bread, these artisanal breads do not contain preservatives or additives. When frozen at -18c the bread will keep for up 6 months.
