I’ve seen a lot of posts on Facebook about the price of fuel and accusing us of robbing people. I just wanted to clarify a few things. First off, we’re not trying to rob anyone. Our current cost for Petrol is £1.45 and Diesel is £1.85. If you don’t believe me,I’d be happy to show you the invoice if you called in.
My fuel sales are down about 70%, if I could drop the price, i would.
The reason we are more expensive than everyone locally is because we are on a daily price. This basically means, when the price goes up, we have to increase it straight away. It also means we will be able to drop the price straight away as soon as the price starts coming down.
The majority of garages around us are on a weekly price. This means that they get an average price from the previous week, which is cheaper compared to what the price is today.
Hope this helps your understanding.
Thanks
