Another awesome Halloween cocktail - a punch fit for 10 fiends! 🎃

This simple red wine and Cointreau party cocktail is blood curdlingly good.

It's a showstopping centrepiece with a spooky twist……

⏰ 10 minutes
🔟 10 people

What you'll need:

✋ 1 latex glove
💧 Water
🍷 2 bottles red wine
💦 620ml soda water
🍊 620ml orange juice
🥃 85ml Cointreau
🥄 3 tbsp brown sugar
🍊 2 oranges, thinly sliced
🍋 2 lemons, thinly sliced
🍋 2 limes, thinly sliced

Method:

Step 1.

Fill a latex glove with water but not so much that the glove starts to balloon. Freeze overnight.

Step 2.

Mix the red wine, soda water, orange juice, Cointreau, brown sugar and fruit slices.

Step 3.

Stir thoroughly and cut the ice out of the latex glove.

👻 Halloween Punch !! 😵‍💫

Ingredients

2l cherry or grape juice
peel from 3 oranges
1 thumb-sized red chilli , pierced a few times but left whole
3 cinnamon sticks
10 cloves
6 slices ginger
Dracula's fangs sweets (or similar sweets)

For an alcoholic punch (optional)

200ml vodka , or 25ml per glass

Method

STEP 1

Tip the cherry/grape juice, orange peel, chilli, cinnamon sticks, cloves and ginger into a large saucepan. Simmer for 5 mins, then turn off the heat. Leave to cool, then chill for at least 4 hrs, or up to 2 days – the longer you leave it the more intense the flavours. If serving to young children, take the chilli out after a few hours.

STEP 2

When you’re ready to serve, pour the juice into a jug. Serve in glass bottles or glasses and pop a straw in each. If you're adding vodka, do so at this stage. Dangle a fangs sweet from each glass.
