Have you survived Storm Boelo so far, what a night that was and it doesn’t seem to be over quite yet !!

We wouldn’t blame you if you all stopped indoors today to keep safe but there will be people who have no choice but to be out in this weather today.

We are open 10am - 4pm today, we are well stocked up on biscuits, chocolates, Sue’s cakes sell out faster than she can make them sometimes, so if you need comfort food we are open.

Sue has been baking again! Come and grab a cheese scone! We also have flapjack and lemon shortbread available

31st of October - everyone knows that date as it’s Halloween and it’s not far off now 👻🎃🧙🏻.

Here at Dent Stores that date is also significant as it is our last day of our Bed & Breakfast season. We’ve met so many people since 1st March and cooked breakfasts and changed beds and done the laundry and ironed pillowcases and filled up tea bags and coffee sachets and left Border Biscuits to be enjoyed. We will do a count up and let you know just how many people have stopped with us once we close the door on 1st November.

We have to do it, we’ve got to start advertising Christmas products.🎄🎅🎁

Now is the time to think about ordering Sue’s Homemade Iced Christmas Cakes for collection nearer Christmas.

Sue has already started baking the cakes so pre ordering will allow her to plan her cooking time and then of course the cakes need to be iced & decorated.

Call in or contact the shop to place your order.

We collect an order from The Meat Hook on Fridays and we also freeze some of the products so they are available in the shop throughout the week. You can place an order by Monday to be ready for collection from Friday lunchtime to avoid disappointment of us selling out.
