Stationery - job lot - closing down. We are a local Newsagent who have now closed our shop. The photos shown are just some of our items available. Some items are WHS as we were a WHS Local shop but changed back to being a family run local newsagents a couple of years ago.

‘Time flies when you’re having fun’

For 20 years we’ve been delivering newspapers from our shop, in the centre of Denby Dale.

The time has come, so we have sold our newspaper rounds to the News Team Group to continue with uninterrupted deliveries to all our customers. The transfer to News Team will be completed, in stages, over the next three weeks and both News Team and ourselves will be in contact with our delivery customers. We trust you’ll give News Team a chance as you gave us a chance 20 years ago.

If you have any questions the shop will be open normal hours until 1pm on 23rd December 2023 when we will close and stop trading.

Thank you for your custom over the years, it has been both welcomed and appreciated.

JOB VACANCY

PART TIME DELIVERY DRIVERS REQUIRED

We are looking for Delivery Drivers to work 3 or 4 mornings per week, with a 6am start.

The rounds will take 2-3 hours depending on the route.

You will need to have a few years driving experience and have a clean licence.

The vehicle will be provided for the job.

We are open every day except Christmas Day.

LATE NEWSPAPER DELIVERIES

Unfortunately we received the newspapers an hour and a half late to the shop this morning, having to go to the Menzies’ Wakefield Depot to collect them ourselves.

Our deliverers are now all out and you will receive your newspapers as soon as possible.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
