We are a family run shop fitting and building company based in Cwmbran, South Wales. Projects range from small works contracts and full refurbishments

Projects range from small works contracts and refurbishments through to new builds. Operating from purpose built offices and workshops; we have built an enviable reputation for the quality of our shop fitting, building and joinery services. In our comprehensive workshop, our specialist joinery division produces purpose made joinery to meet all the modern day needs of the construction and shop fitting business. Our joiners have a wealth of knowledge and experience ranging from rustic barn conversions with circular box sash windows to modular MDF laminated counters for modern betting and retail shops. As principle contractors we have an excellent record for projects completed to budget and on programme without compromising either quality or cost. Since Robert Established the company in 1973, operations have expanded to provide a wide scope of services, building firmly upon the substantial experience of the partners and staff. Flexibility has been the target for the company’s progression, building on its strengths and range of services to the industry, through competitive tendering and negotiation. In recent years Robert’s sons Matthew and James have become more involved with the running of the business and will be taking the mantle upon Roberts’s retirement. They hope the company will be pasted down to generations to come. R C Greens has a vast network of sub-contractors from different trades located all over the UK so we can work on projects throughout the country and still offer a competitive price. This also means that we are never more than a couple of hours away if something comes up that simply cannot wait. As a company we put a strong emphasis on health and safety. Regular safety audits are conducted in house as well as on site to ensure a high health and safety standard throughout the company. We believe that a safe work force works together more efficiently and leads to higher moral between management and employees. All health and safety matter are dealt with in house by our health and safety manager, to ensure that nothing is over looked. Training, site safety and quality assurance are functions which play an important part in this continued progression and expansion. Our operatives receive a wide variety of health and safety training including CSCS, SMSTS and IOSHH training schemes to name a few. We also have a variety of access training ranging from PASMA to IPAF to maximise safety to both our operatives and the general public. We are also Safecontractor and Chas accredited and can easily register for further accreditations if specified by a client. As a company we are always looking for ways to expand our horizons and build on our ever growing client base. We are always keen to take on new projects outside of our comfort zone to build on our vast experience in the industry.

🍕 ANOTHER ONE OVER THE LINE! | DOMINO’S COLEFORD 🍕🔨

New store. Local project. Snag-free handover. All in under 4 weeks! 💪

We’re delighted to announce that the R C Green Shopfitters team has today successfully handed over the brand-new Domino’s store in Coleford, Forest of Dean! 🎉

This one has been particularly special for us. Being right on our doorstep, it’s always a pleasure to deliver a project so close to home and see another fantastic business opening in our local community.

⏱️ Just under 4 weeks from start to finish!

From the striking new shopfront and contemporary customer collection area to the fully equipped commercial kitchen, preparation areas and back-of-house facilities, the team has worked tirelessly to bring this project together.

And the icing on the cake? 🍰

✅ A completely snag-free handover!

Delivering projects to tight programmes is one thing, but handing over a finished store with zero snags is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A massive thank you to our hardworking RCG team, subcontractors and everyone involved in making this another successful project. Your dedication, attention to detail and commitment to quality continue to make all the difference. 👏

🏛️ A GRADE I LISTED BUILDING. A FULL REFURBISHMENT. JUST 2 WEEKS CLOSED! 🍕🔥

Not your average Domino’s refurbishment! 👀

The team at R C Green Shopfitters have been busy transforming Domino’s in Edenbridge, delivering a complete store refurbishment alongside a new rear extension to this historic Grade I listed building.

And here’s the impressive part… 👇

🍕 The store remained OPEN and trading throughout the majority of the project, closing for just TWO WEEKS!

Working on a listed building brings a completely different set of challenges. Every detail matters, and preserving the character of the existing building was just as important as delivering a modern, fully functioning Domino’s store.

🧱 We sourced salvaged bricks to match the original building.

🏠 We tracked down reclaimed roof tiles to ensure the extension complemented the existing structure.

🔨 We carefully balanced traditional building methods with a modern commercial fit-out.

⏱️ And we managed the works around a live, trading store to minimise disruption.

The result? A fantastic transformation that brings together historic character and modern functionality.

A massive thank you to our hardworking RCG team and everyone involved in bringing this challenging project together. Another example of what can be achieved with teamwork, craftsmanship and a little determination! 💪

🌧️ ONE DAY. ONE BESPOKE SHOPFRONT. ANOTHER GREAT TEAM EFFORT. 👏

A fantastic effort from the Robert C Green Shopfitters team at Domino’s Morriston, Swansea, replacing the existing rotten timber shopfront with a completely new bespoke hardwood shopfront — all installed in a single day.

This wasn’t an off-the-shelf system. The new shopfront was carefully manufactured in our own workshop, purpose-built to replicate the original frontage and suit the existing building before being transported to site ready for installation.

And, being South Wales, the weather certainly decided to test us! 🌧️☔

Despite intervals of torrential rain, the team pushed on and completed the installation within the day, getting the building secure and leaving Domino’s with a smart new frontage ready for the finishing works.

Projects like this are a great example of what RCG is all about — combining traditional joinery skills, bespoke manufacturing and an experienced site team to get the job done.

A massive well done to everyone involved. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort from the team. 💚

🚆 PROJECT HANDOVER | PRET A MANGER – READING STATION ⭐️

We’re delighted to announce the successful handover of the brand-new Pret A Manger at Reading Train Station.

This one has been over two years in the pipeline, so seeing the doors finally ready to open makes this an especially satisfying project for everyone at Robert C Green Shopfitters.

Working within a live railway station brings its own unique set of challenges — restricted access, logistics, working hours and coordinating around one of the UK’s busiest transport environments. Our team has worked around the clock and closely alongside Network Rail to keep the project moving and get it over the line.

From the customer-facing areas and bespoke finishes through to the kitchen, storage and back-of-house facilities, the attention to detail throughout has been fantastic.

Most importantly, the project was delivered with a snag-free handover — a brilliant reflection of the hard work, commitment and quality of the entire RCG team. 👏

🍕 HANDOVER DAY | DOMINO’S NORTHWICH 🍕

Another project over the line for the Robert C Green Shopfitters team!

Today we’re handing over the newly refurbished Domino’s Northwich following a complete strip-out and full refurbishment of the existing store.

The store was completely gutted and started again, transforming the space from the ground up to create the fresh, modern Domino’s you see today.

From the customer-facing areas and collection counter through to the finishes, services and back-of-house kitchen, it’s been a fantastic team effort to bring everything together.

A massive thank you to everyone involved in delivering another quality project for Domino’s. 👏

Fantastic to see the start of our latest project. A large extension to a listed building in the heart of Edenbridge for our long standing client. Lots of structural complications and a hand cut roof will keep the joiners and builders busy. The store will be fully operational whilst the extension is constructed and then we’ll crack through to complete a full refit in 2 weeks to the front of house areas. A local project, close to home 🏗️

We’re proud to share our latest completed shopfront installation for CEX Entertainment Exchange, part of ongoing restoration works in Newport City Centre, Gwent.

This one meant a little more to the team — a local job in our own backyard. The full hardwood shopfront was manufactured from start to finish in our in-house joinery workshop, then installed on site by our local joinery team, showcasing the end-to-end capability we bring to every project: design, manufacture, and installation, all under one roof.

Projects like this are a reminder of why we do what we do — supporting the regeneration of the high streets in the communities we’re part of.

Robert C Green Shopfitters | Project Spotlight — Domino’s Pizza, Normanton

Proud to share another completed project from the RCG team — a full shopfit for Domino’s Pizza in Normanton, delivered in under four weeks.

A key element of this project was the bespoke Accoya timber shopfront, manufactured entirely in-house by our joinery workshop. The specification was driven by local planning requirements, and our team rose to the challenge — producing a high-quality, precision-made façade that ticks every box, aesthetically and technically.

Accoya’s durability, dimensional stability, and sustainability credentials make it an outstanding choice for retail shopfronts, and it’s a material our joinery team work with to an exceptional standard.
