Introducing Copelandโs 25.1 Single Malt Irish Whiskey โ Batch 1.
Batch 1 is a Double Distilled Chocolate Malt mash bill (10% chocolate malt, 90% malted barley), produced on Pam, our first commissioned still.
A blend of 200L American Bourbon first fill casks, aged for 4 years and 9 months, then transferred the whiskey to Virgin American Oak (char level 4) casks for a 5-month finish, totalling 5 years and 2 months of maturation. Additionally, a quarter cask of fully matured for 5 years and 5 months in a first-fill Oloroso sherry cask was added.
