We have fresh pies, cold meats, bacon and sausages delivered from Houghs Butchers every Tuesday and Friday. Orders can be taken for these and other items by 1.00pm Monday for Tuesday and 1.00pm Thursday for Friday.

Having a picnic or barbecue this weekend?
We have lots of lovely pies, cold meats, burgers and sausages fresh in from Houghs Butchers. There’s also a selection of cheeses from Clun Valley Foods and bread from Steeles Family Bakery. Cans of chilled Pimms, Gin and Tonic, Stella or soft drinks and bottles of chilled Prosecco also available.

A Warm Welcome Awaits at the Community Shop in Aston on Clun!

One of the pleasures of volunteering at the Aston on Clun Community Shop is meeting visitors
from all over the country. Recently we were delighted to welcome a lovely couple walking the
Heart of Wales Line Trail, who had heard that our shop offers refreshments to walkers and
travellers.
Having spent time browsing our shelves, discovering our range of everyday essentials and
locally produced goods, they enjoyed their tea relaxing on the beautiful village green .
Whether you're walking the trail, cycling, exploring South Shropshire or simply passing through,
why not call in? We offer hot and cold drinks, snacks, locally sourced produce, everyday
groceries and a chance to pause and enjoy one of England's prettiest villages.
As a community-owned, volunteer-run shop—and proud recipient of the King's Award for
Voluntary Service—every purchase helps support this valuable local facility.
We look forward to welcoming you soon. The kettle is always on!
