As we shuffle off this bricks n’mortar coil we’ve got another terrible photo of excellent beers. From Dark Revolution we’ve got a new 4.3% hazy pale, and their freshest hazy 6.5% IPA; from Left Handed Giant Brewing Co. the latest Twin Cities 5.2% pale with lesser spotted hop Pacific Sunrise, and more 6.5% haze; finally, Beak Brewery also bestow upon as a 6.5% IPA (what sells, right) and their ramped up 8% version of their core beer Hum.

Open until 6pm tonight, Friday. Open Saturday 1030am-6pm. Then we’ll see you in cyberspace.

Four further fluids for our final full weekend, with our first ever Gold Top DIPA from - a crazy amount of hop names and numbers encased in this 8.4% can of Wonder, ably supported by a 6.5% Nelson and HBC 1019 IPA. Plus, a new Slushasaurus sour - black cherry, no less - and 6% NEIPA collab with No Half Measures Collective - Nottingham’s women beer nerds - from .

The first batch of new beers in time for the weekend include these four beauts from Shiny Brewery - two new DDH pale ales including Dolphin Milk, loaded on the latest hop developments (lactose free); and from New Bristol Brewery - a blackberry crumble sour collab with Bluntrock Brewery (lactose free), and one for the adventurous, a pink-foamed beetroot chocolate cake stout.

This is our last full weekend before we move out, temporarily going online, until our new home is ready - much like Denzil Washington’s character in rom-com Fallen. We’re offering 10% off all our bottled Belgian beers, and remaining real ale. Ain’t enough space in storage for them.

Five more new beers to refresh your weekend - from Overtone Brewing Co we have a new vibrant fruity Double IPA collab with Azvex Brewing Co. and a 5.5% guava purée tropical sour; the return of Staggeringly Good with a new thick, joosy 6.5% IPA, and from UnBarred Brewery - an alcohol-free 0.5% pale, and their new decadent Cocoa Bisco, 6.8% choc, caramel biscuit stout.

We’ll be moving out of the shop in the next couple of weeks, so now would be a good time to use those vouchers you have, or stock up on any Belgian beer favourites we might have left. New online shop coming soon…

We start the week with two new IPAs from Azvex Brewing Co. - 6.2% with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, and 6.8% with Citra, Nelson, Azacca; and from Dark Element - a new Citra, Mosaic, Sabro 6% IPA, and a straight up 5.5% stout. More beers incoming at the end of the week.

We will be leaving our current home by the end of March, and temporarily moving online for 3+ months with home delivery, before (hopefully) returning to bricks and mortar when our new premises becomes available. Our current shop space has outgrown our business, so we’re taking the opportunity to streamline our beer selection, whilst conversely increasing our options. Our hours as we crossover into March - we'll be regularly open on Friday and Saturday as per usual, and offering free local delivery in the evenings. We're operating on a week-by-week basis at the moment whilst we have some other ongoing commitments and we restructure the business.

Small batch of new beers for your weekend something. Four options from Brass Castle and Triple Point Brewery + Bar including the return of Bad Kitty, new peanut butter marshmallow 8.4% stout, and two fresh New England IPAs - one of which is 2025’s good cause democratically influenced collab ‘Pint of Sheffield’.

We’ve also got two new juicy dank IPAs from Gravity Well Brewing Company and from NORTHERN MONK - their 0.5% version of classic Heathen, and their latest Patrons Project with - the 7% hazy IPA Golden Axis.

We'll be gingerly back open pottering around the shop for the next three days for all your good beer needs. We're still offering local free delivery if you can't make our opening hours. New beers incoming this week from Brass Castle, Northern Monk, Gravity Well and Triple Point.

We’ll be closed this time next week for minor surgery (and recovery) postponed from last month, so the only scalping I’ll suffer on Valentine’s Day will be from a medical professional. We won’t be able to staff the shop full-time during half term week, but will be available to delivery good beer direct to your door. Message us in the usual ways with any requests. Trust the process.

Open this Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th, and Tuesday 11th for in-your-face interactions.

8 new beers in for the weekend from our friends at Phantom including an 8% IPA collab with Offscript Brewing, a couple of ‘tributes’ to Microsoft, some Verdant-yeasted hoppy goodness , and a trilogy of tasty beers to celebrate the arrival of their hand-selected US hops - stack ‘em for full effect.

A bunch of new brews and previously enjoyed this week - from Pretty Decent Beer Co we have a fresh DDH pale, and an 8.5% IPA with Citra, Nelson, Nectaron & Superdelic; Overtone Brewing Co give us a new TDH IPA with Citra, Luminosa & Strata, and a full-flavoured 0.5% pale collab with We Can Be Friends; Duration Brewing always bring the diversity with a California Common (homage to Anchor Steam), a Midwest pale collab with , and two returning IPAs - the classic Turtles, and for those that missed out last time, a restock of their belting IPA collab with Verdant Brewing Co - Brewery & Taproom; finally the return of Lost Pier Brewing with, what else?, their always delicious Fruit Machine IPA, and their jacked up Jackpot special 7.77% edition.

Open from 1030am on Friday. See you for the end of January.

𝙋 𝙐 𝙏 𝙏 𝙔 (8% DIPA) // Every year, our brewers go the extra mile to create a Verdant DIPA that’s perfectly balanced yet bursting with flavour. This year’s brew is no exception. Expect juicy notes of mango, passionfruit, and peach, complemented by subtle hints of resinous pine. It's some journey!
