It’s Tinsel Tuesday in Ludlow today so we are celebrating by showing off our Sari material tinsel from fair trade company .
I think I might need more tinsel or a smaller tree 🤣
There will be super festive market in town square with lots of local makers selling their wares.
So pop over Purple Panda in Ludlow and then pop up to the market and support these great makers who probably had their stalls cancelled on the weekend due to the storm. There’s even festive music and you can tell me whether the Christmas tree is back up again.
If you miss it, there’s another one next week 🤗🥰🌲

To make up for the lost work hour due to closing early yesterday, we spent an hour drinking wine to enhance our display of recycled Sari bottle bags 🍷
We haven’t thought of a use for the empty chocolate box melted candle wax but so we better stick to the useful wine drinking.
We hope to have power at home by the time we leave work or it will be a chippy tea at Nanny Iris’s house.
Can recommend her jam on toast as I went there for breakfast 🥰

Tis done!
The shop window in is tres festives!
Took a couple of short evenings to complete but that was voted for over one long night which usually finishes around midnight with a road closure and ice roads on the way home 🙈
It all starts with the annual window cleaning, fitting the fairy lights and fighting with 60 meters of white fleece (until Hazel has a meltdown and Shayne finishes pinning it in place whilst she buys a multi pack of fruit pastels) 😳
The tree will be illuminated next Saturday when Church Stretton’s Rotary Tree of light is turned on in the square.
Footnote…
Shayne was not happy that 2 items sold immediately yesterday morning after making them look so nice in the window. I did remind him that was after all, the whole idea! 🤣🤣🤣🥰

So continuing our “It’s too soon” theme, we spent the morning putting up the Xmas trees outside the shops 🤗
As usual it involved arguing and swearing as the hole the cable goes through heals over during the summer and “somebody” turns the tree the wrong way whilst I am trying to put the lights on 🤣🤣🤣😳
The tree will look very festive when it’s turned on this Friday for Ludlow’s late night opening and tractor run, starting the Winter Festival 🧚🏻‍♀️
Tonight we will be starting to prep our Church Stretton windows so don’t panic and think we’ve done a runner if it looks a bit empty tomorrow 🤔
