It’s with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to David, who will be leaving us in June. Tuesday also marked his final wine tasting at Cavavin Chichester.

David has been with us from day one and has played a huge part in creating the warm, welcoming atmosphere so many of you have enjoyed. Anyone who’s attended one of his tastings will know his passion, knowledge, humour, and talent for bringing every bottle to life.

He’ll be hugely missed by all of us, both as a colleague and a friend.

We’re hoping to welcome David back for some drinks later in the year, so those of you who’ve enjoyed his tastings can raise a glass with him once more.

Thank you, David, for all your hard work and passion since the very beginning. Wishing you all the best for your next adventure 🍷

Our Friday Night Social was buzzing! great wine, great company, and a brilliant atmosphere all evening.

We’re adding a little extra fun to your visit. When you pop into the shop, simply scan our QR code and take part in our “Perfect Pairings” digital matching game — a quick, playful way to test your food‑and‑wine instincts.

Everyone who completes the quiz will be entered into our draw, where two lucky winners will each get to choose one of the two wines displayed in store.

The competition closes on 31st May, and winners will be contacted by email 🍷
