PLEASE NOTE…..
Cheswardine Community Shop will only be open between 8.30am & 9.30am on Monday 12th October as there will be no power to the hall between 8am and 4pm.

Great news.
Cheswardine Community Shop has again been awarded a 5🌟 from the Food Standards Agency.

Our lovely community shop is open 7 days a week, 8.30am to 11am and on a Friday afternoon 2pm to 4pm and is run by volunteers.

Pop in to have a look around and see what lovely goodies we sell. You can also order newspapers, magazines, bread, meat.

WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE….

Do you have one hour a month free to volunteer for Cheswardine Community Shop?

We are in urgent need of Newspaper Volunteers.
If 4 people volunteer it means one day a month is covered.

The job entails driving to Tower Garage in Market Drayton to collect the newspaper order. Leave home about 7.10 am and collect order. Enter shop and check the quantities to the order in shop. Place papers onto rack. Lock Up. Deliver any newspapers for Cheswardine Hall to them. Back home by 8.00 am.

This is a vital service that the shop provides for the local community, but it cannot continue without more volunteers.

Full training will be given and expenses are paid, if required.
Please help us to keep this service being provided.

You never know who or what you may find when you’re opening up the shop in Cheswardine.

Today it was 6 Yorkshire Rugby League fans cycling from Hull to Wembley to watch Hull KR against Wigan Warriers on Saturday afternoon. They were all very impressed with our volunteer run shop and the Parish Hall facilities.

We’re open until 11.00 today. Sunday and Monday only open 9am to 10am. Normal opening hours Tuesday onwards.
