INDEPENDENT BUSINESS OWNER BINGO!!

At 1.57am this morning we had the privilege of ticking off “Burglary” on the Bingo Card of owning a business…

Our neighbours and were also targeted.

We sadly are a card and cash business, and tend to clear it periodically, now daily 😳. Annoyingly he scored with us, I would have more respect if he could have taken a nice bottle of wine with him to celebrate.

It’s tough out there for indies and having police forensics, glaziers, insurance on your day off is never the best.

Hats off to our Abi for her 3am cardboard crafting skills.

Any information please contact regarding the perpetrator whose image you will find in our stories.

Thanks as always for the all the custom we have to soften the blow. Back at it from tomorrow at 10am.

As a super special addition we have Louis co-founder and winemaker here at State of Love & Trust to conduct 20 minute speed tastings every hour, on the hour from 12pm to 6pm.

Chilled Bank Holiday Vibe…. Requires Chilled Red

Planning on chasing the sun? Or maybe more so the shade? Either way we have this little number on by the glass this weekend as a little change up from our usual offering.

Chasing Rabbits Grenache according to winemaker Corlea Fourie, “captures the fine tension and clarity of young Grenache fruit”. The grapes come from a certified organic vineyard called Gesamelike Wei, which means communal pasture – the site was originally used for grazing by nomadic trek farmers.

It’s all strawberries and raspberries with extremely fine tannins. Refreshing and reinvigorating, pop in for a glass or take a bottle home.

It’s Tuesday morning after the Bank Holiday weekend and wine is probably way down the list of what’s filling your brain space…. Not for us!!!

On by the glass this week is Screaming Betty Vermentino. Organically grown in the Australian Riverland region, fermented on indigenous yeast in stainless steel followed by 6 weeks on its fine lees.

Textural and tropical it’s an absolute banger by the glass.

Side story; I once had a Great Aunty Betty from Scotland who lived well into her 80’s. When her husband Great Uncle Bill passed away, a close family friend caught up with her to see how she was coping without him.

Her response, “To be honest, I miss the s .” 😳

On that note, come raise a glass of Screaming Betty in the sunshine and forget your worries.
