Penderyn Icons of Wales returns!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The 12th edition of the ever popular Icons of Wales series has just landed… and it’s a beauty!

This is a limited edition bottle that will likely be sold out within the year ⏳

Copperopolis is a tribute to the old Swansea copper works of the 1800s which at one point produced over 90% of the UK’s copper due to the abundance of Welsh coal and the sea. Ships brought ore from every port to become copper at the place they called Copperopolis.

Tasting notes:⬇️

Nose:
- Floral and fruity
- Scent of orange blossom
- Notes of peaches, cherries, orange peel

Palate:
- Lucious mouthfeel
- Caramel and honey
- Raisins, figs and light oak spices

Finish:
- Dry oak remains
- Citrus sweetness
- Dust of cocoa

Get it whilst you can… once it’s gone, it’s gone!!

This weekend marks the launch of ‘s 1st birthday beers!🍻

- Imperial Ironfoot - DDH DIPA (8.4%)

The beer that started it all taken to the next level. This double IPA boasts a complex and vibrant hop profile from Citra, Citra Spectrum, Strata and Strata CGX🤤

- Burn out into oblivion - Imperial Stout (8.4%)

A rich, decadent imperial stout with an array of specialty malts and panela sugar, and additions of black gold coffee, cacao nibs and maple syrup. Brewed in collaboration with .☕️

It’s really sad to see him go, and he will be missed by all of us at the market, but can’t wait to see his new place open up in May! After all, with more space comes more plants! 🌱

This weekend marks the 1 year anniversary of both the launch of Lockup Bottle Shop and 🎉🎂

To celebrate 1 whole year of trading and meeting lots of amazing people we’re offering a 10% discount on ALL products all weekend long!

Pop on down to the market this weekend and join in on the celebrations! Ffos has a variety of workshops this weekend, as well as their pub quiz Friday night, and then live music and a silent disco on Saturday! 🎧

Really sad to see such great friends of mine in Up market family butchers 41 bartlett Street caerphilly leave Ffos market, but I wish them all the best, and can’t wait to see them at their new place on Van Road business park opening in May!!

They’ve got an amazing following already, but if you haven’t heard of them, please do go up and give them a visit at their new premises for the best fresh and cooked fish anywhere locally! 🍤🐟

(P.S. Cath, Jeanette and co. There will always be a couple bottles of cider waiting for you if you ever come down and visit!)

PUTTTY!!

We missed out on the regular PUTTY (8% DIPA) this year - my fault completely🤦🏼‍♂️- but have managed to get a hold of a limited number of cans of Triple PUTTTY (10% TIPA) for all you lovely people!

This is a once a year triple IPA that certainly lives up to its hype!

Creamy, hoppy and intense, this beer has had a 30 grams per litre dry-hop on top of the 10 grams per litre in the whirlpool.

Grab it whilst you can - when it’s gone, it’s gone!
