We’re still slightly stunned that our Kite Flying Festival post reached 33,000 views (honestly… we were expecting about 33).

Well… this is a bit exciting! 😳🎉

Somehow (and we’re still not entirely sure how), Seaview Minimarket has now passed 1,000 followers on Facebook!

And the post about the Kite Flying Festival has had over 33,000 views… which is slightly more people than we were expecting when we typed it up between serving milk, bread and emergency chocolate supplies. 😅🪁🍫

Honestly, we’re a little stunned — but mostly just really grateful.

Thank you so much for following, liking, sharing, commenting and generally putting up with our cheerful little updates and village “ramblings”. It means a lot, and we love being part of this community.

Here’s to more local news, seaside sunshine, and the occasional “quick post” that accidentally reaches half of Wales 😄🌊

From all of us at Seaview Minimarket, we’re celebrating one of the most iconic film universes ever created today… and it turns out we’ve got a little slice of it right here on our doorstep.

Did you know the Millennium Falcon — yes, that Millennium Falcon — was originally built just down the road in Pembroke Dock? 🚀

Proof (if ever we needed it) that Pembrokeshire has always had a touch of film magic about it… even when we’re just popping out for milk and a loaf of bread.

So whether you’re team Jedi, Sith, or just here for the snacks, have a brilliant Star Wars Day from all of us at the shop 🌊

May your coffee be strong, your queues be short, and your lightsaber always fully charged - and if it isn't then we have the batteries!
