Living where we do, it’s impossible not to appreciate just how lucky we are.

The coastline, the wildlife, the sea air, the sunsets… and occasionally the wind trying to take your shopping clean across the car park. 🌬️😅

At Seaview Minimarket we try, where we can, to make small changes that add up — encouraging recycling, supporting local suppliers and reducing unnecessary waste wherever practical.

None of us get everything perfect, but we do believe that lots of small thoughtful choices can make a real difference over time.

🚲 World Bicycle Day 🚲

Apparently buying an electric bike to “gently keep up” with the other half has somehow turned into me being expected to cycle actual hills. Nobody warned me about this part. 😅

Still… there really is nothing quite like seeing Pembrokeshire from two wheels (even if mine occasionally has a little battery-powered encouragement involved).

Whether you’re a serious cyclist, a casual potterer, or simply someone who enjoys sitting with a coffee watching everybody else pedal past — we hope you enjoy a lovely World Bicycle Day.

If you’re heading out exploring today, don’t forget to pop in for cold drinks, snacks and emergency chocolate supplies for those “slightly steeper than expected” moments. 🚴‍♀️☀️

The shelves are finally looking a little happier again… and so are we 😅

After last week’s heatwave chaos, today feels wonderfully normal:
🍓 Fresh strawberries back in stock
🍞 Freshly baked bread on the shelves
☕ And enough tea and coffee to get the village functioning properly again

There’s something very reassuring about the smell of fresh bread in the shop first thing in the morning — although I’m fairly sure half the village can smell it before they even get through the door.

If you’re passing through Broad Haven today, pop in and treat yourself to a few simple essentials for the week ahead. Preferably before the strawberries mysteriously disappear again… 👀
