Our Story

Our story begins when we met on the Loveboat! No actually the ship was the Horizon with Celebrity Cruises. Working in the casino we contributed 11 years to the company when we finally decided to head for land and start settling down.

Initially the plan was to settle in Cape Town, South Africa - Mirta’s home town but with the current state of the nation we decided to come back to Cardiff, where Jason is from and settle down here.

Wanting to try a new venture and not having to report to a boss anymore we thought having our own little village shop and post office in a quiet little village was ideal for us.

One year later we are still here and loving the quaint little village of Laleston and all the people in it, who have been very welcoming and supportive but change is coming and we will be expanding the store and restoring it to it’s former glory.
