Not impressed with the last driver I had. Got my usual taxi from a to b and I asked him to go the quickest route. He heard this as "take me around the back roads rather than the straight line across and up that it usually is and add more time to the journey". When I get to b, he then has the nerve to try and charge me for this extra travel. I tell him what I pay for this same journey (without the unnecessary meandering he added) and he has the nerve to laugh at me, tell me "I must be confused" and try and show me his mile card to explain how he's charging for the length of travel. Nobody asked him to take the long way round, so how DARE he try and take advantage like that!
