For the very first time, Fair Isle Brewing has landed at Left Field Beer!
A shipment from one of Seattle's most exciting farmhouse breweries has just arrived at our warehouse, and we're delighted to be adding Fair Isle Brewing to our ever-growing line-up of exceptional breweries from around the world.
Based in Seattle, Washington, Fair Isle are masters of modern farmhouse beer, creating beautifully nuanced saisons, mixed-fermentation ales and lagers inspired by the landscape and ingredients of the Pacific Northwest.
At the heart of their beers is a unique house culture of wild and feral yeasts and bacteria, originally developed from microbes collected from flowers across Washington. Combined with locally grown malts, hops, fruit and foraged ingredients, it allows Fair Isle to create beers with a genuine sense of place – complex, expressive and distinctly their own.
Their beers blur the boundaries between brewing, winemaking and fermentation, ranging from elegant saisons and farmhouse ales to oak-aged creations refermented with locally grown fruit, grapes, herbs and botanicals.
It's an approach that has earned Fair Isle serious acclaim, including recognition at both the World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival.
