PLEASE NOTE… our shop is open - due to no electric, cash or pay later

Plan your Christmas, whilst supporting your local shop. We can take orders, this service is only available for goods already stocked by the shop. You will need to give us your order by 10th December which will allow us time to get it with our regular deliveries.

All the work on the floor is now completed, so we are open tomorrow Saturday 21st. Thank you everyone for your patience whilst the work has been carried out.

Today is the day, the contractors start laying the new floor in the shop. We will be now not be open until Saturday, feel free to call in between 9am and midday on 21st to have look at the wonderful job we know they will do for us.

Good evening all.
I am very excited to be writing this post. I have good news from the committee, with thanks to our current volunteers and new volunteers who have been training over the past few weeks we are able to return to our normal opening hours. From tomorrow the 13th August our Tuesday and Wednesday opening hours will be 9am to 3.30pm and Saturdays will return to closing at midday. We would like to thank all our customers for their patience over the last 3 months.

Sometimes I forget what is at the back of my fridge, I work on the principle of if it smells OK and there is no mould it is good to eat/use. I can confirm that our milk keeps far better than it use to. Put this in my tea this morning, it didn't separate so enjoying a nice cuppa.
