Classics are the foundation of all haircuts, one way or another.

This haircut is a perfect blend of all 3 shapes (square, round & triangular), as are most of the haircuts we share with you. The magic is in understanding those shapes & how to thoughtfully apply them to each haircut & client.

You can execute a beautifully round haircut, but do round shapes suit your client? Suitability is key.

SUNDAY MATINÉ 🎞️
A Look & Learn series supported by in collaboration with

We brought the craft, Method brought the drinks & Denman brought the tools.

The idea behind Sunday Matiné is to blend knowledge, culture & connection with like-minded creatives. We opened the doors and an incredible mix of people showed up, barbers at different stages, hairdressers, & even complete beginners looking for inspiration.

We shared the exact process we use every day to achieve the classics. From combing, sectioning, weight distribution & cutting, to understanding head shape, hair texture, drying & styling. A clear, step-by-step approach rooted in simplicity and intention.

Our aim is to make masculine classics accessible to as many hair professionals & clients on the island as possible. Sharing knowledge is essential to the growth of our industry and we learn just as much from every student who walks through our doors.

The afternoon was elevated by and . A cocktail menu designed to mirror craft, heritage, & sensory experience sat alongside professional tools trusted worldwide. Denman, local brush designers and manufacturers from Northern Ireland, equipped us with Jack Dean by Denman D4 and vent brushes, allowing us to demonstrate our signature blow-dry using the very tools we work with daily, with every attendee leaving with brushes of their own.

A special thanks to Dylan & Rachel for making creative collaboration a dream.

Seasons Greetings & love to you all 💫

Thinking of all of you, especially those who find the holiday season difficult. And of course those who are suffering that need our collective voices right now.

You have kept us busy, laughing, allowed us to keep the lights on & the heating blasting. It is a privilege. Thank you, thank you & thank you.

It’s so incredible that you choose us, when you want to do something cool with your hair. It fills us full of joy when you tell us “do the same again”, “I trust ya” or when you say “someone told me about this place”, “I’ve been meaning to come here.”

We strive to maintain a sound, inclusive & safe space, with zero tolerance to any intolerance. We will always push to do better, for you & the community that you’re building with us.

For you, what might be dropping by for an hour to get a new look & experience (we hope it’s more than that) for us, honestly, it means the world.
