Mosterton Village Shop is a privately owned, family run shop trading as a SPAR store. Every month we have a selection of offers and promotions and our range of products continues to grow in response to customer requests. STAFF VACANCY AT MOSTERTON VILLAGE SHOP:

What we’re looking for:

We’re offering an exciting and varied role on a full time basis [minimum 35 hours] within our retail store. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous as full training will be provided. You’ll be a fantastic communicator and not afraid to strike up conversations with anyone and everyone. Pay will be National minimum wages and You’ll have excellent communication skills, and be a great team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You’ll also have a keen enthusiasm for delivering great customer service and won’t be afraid to get stuck in and carry out day-to-day tasks, including:

• Helping customers with queries and requests

• Merchandising stock, ensuring great availability for our customers

- Flexible for working hours and is willing to work mornings, evenings and weekends

• Assisting with stock control and replenishment
• Working on the checkout serving customers

• Helping keep the store clean, tidy and safe

• Maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times

Taking this friendly, helpful and caring attitude to the next level, you’ll also proactively engage in community activities. We want our Customer Service Assistants to love where they live and get involved in every opportunity, and this could be through volunteering, offering a helping hand or getting involved in good causes.

Mosterton Village Shop is a privately owned, family run shop trading as a SPAR store. Every month we have a wide selection of offers and promotions and our range of products continues to grow in response to customer requests. We have fresh bread baked in-store every day French Sticks, White loaves, Granary Cobs, rolls, baguettes and we have a wide range of hot food daily - Steak Bakes, Chicken and Mushroom Bakes, Sausage Rolls, Vegetable Cornish Pasties, Steak & Kidney Pies and more.... Remember you can call ahead and order bread and hot food - 01308 868549 We do Hudson’s Hot Dogs, Bacon Baguettes, Egg and Bacon Baps and Toasties to go. (toasties cheese/ham and cheese/onion)

We also do lunchtime specials - depending on the day it varies from double cheeseburgers to southern fried chicken wraps with salad, you can phone up to find what’s on for the day.

NEW in our shop is a range of delicious pies and pasties from Chunk of Devon. We are currently stocking the Giant Steak Pasty, Chunki Sausage Roll, Steak & Ale Pie and for the veggies, we have three vegetarian pies to choose from - the Homity Pie which is a tasty combo of potato, onion and strong Cheddar, the Squash, Spinach & Cheese Pie and the Chunki Roasted Veg Pie. All yum! These are just the best pies we have tasted and we are delighted to be able to stock them.

LOCAL PRODUCE & CRAFTS....... - We are very enthusiastic about stocking Dorset/Somerset and Devon produce and goods and currently, we have : Greeting Cards by Nicola Leader, an artist living in Netherbury. Fruit and veg from Baker’s Farm, Ilminster
