With just over two weeks to go until the actual event, we are completely and utterly blown away by how much money you have helped us raise for Cancer Research. This is a combination of cash and online donations, and your generosity has truly warmed our hearts.

UPDATE: WE ARE SOLD OUT! We still have longer-dated eggs of all kinds available, but none reduced.

Egg-lovers of Barton, we need your help. 🐣🥚🍳

A computer error has led to us experiencing what some people may call 'an infinite-egg glitch'. Namely, approximately 120 boxes of eggs, all going past their display-until date in the next few days. They actually have another week on them, but we are legally forbidden to sell them beyond Tuesday. Some are 50p, the rest are £1.10 (half price). So please, pretty please with a big piece of eggshell on top, come and help us out! We are open from 10am today, and the eggs will be around until Tuesday night (or until we sell out, whichever comes faster). Find them on a trolley by the till.

Scrambled eggs for lunch, methinks.

Wow, wow, WOW! Our original target was £250 - and team member Emma doubted that we'd reach it. In just over a week, you have all proved her wrong. You've doubled it! Thank you so much to every single last one of you who has donated to Clare, Nasif and Emma in their quest to complete Luton's Race For Life next month.

Just a reminder that the Co-Op is open as normal across the bank holiday weekend. So that's Saturday 7am-10pm, Sunday 10am-4pm and Monday 7am-10pm. And we are ready and eager to serve you all your bank-holiday-barbecue essentials, with 3 for 2 on our chilled dips and picnic range, and 2 for £6 (£6.50 for non-members) on many items in our meat and fish range. Come along and get stocked up today - we also have enough beer to rival the most well-stocked pub... 🍻

We are seeking TWO team players to join us at Co-Op Barton-le-Clay. Ideally over 18, we require as much flexibility as possible. No experience required as full training given, baseline 16 hours contract with room for regular overtime.

On Sunday 21st June, our colleagues Nasif, Clare and Emma will be taking part in Race for Life in Luton to raise money for Cancer Research. Cancer is an evil disease that has undoubtedly affected all of us over the years to varying extents, and we want to do our bit - however small - in raising money.

Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK's groundbreaking work. Our target is £250. Please, if you can, consider helping us on our journey.
