Thierry Fontannaz & Nugzar Ksovreli.

Bedoba is made from grapes sourced from vineyards located in the classic and traditional microzones of Kindzmarauli and Kvareli, in the Kakheti region. The vineyards are on average 35 years old, conducted on trellis and situated in a valley where the Duruji River used to run. The soils here are rich in black shale, and the southern slopes of the Caucasus Mountains provide altitudes of over 400 metres above sea level, bringing fresh acidity and soft tannins. Sustainable and organic practices are observed in the vineyards and harvest is carried out by hand.

This cask-strength Single Pot Still Irish Wh***ey has been finished in virgin Irish sweet chestnut hogsheads, crafted using wood sourced from the historic Cappoquin House estate in Co. Waterford.

Bottled at 56.1% ABV, triple distilled and non-chill filtered, the Irish Chestnut Edition allows the rich, spicy character of Midleton’s Single Pot Still wh***ey to meet the distinctive influence of Irish sweet chestnut. The result is a powerful yet beautifully refined wh***ey, with layers of fruit, warming spice and rich wood character developing across the palate.
