Glengoyne Scottish Oak 17 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Limited Release

Introducing the 2026 release of the Oak Masters' Series

This 17 year old whisky has been matured in a combination of classic Glengoyne casks, then finished in virgin Scottish Oak casks for up to 2 years.

This special wood brings out aromas of heather honey, notes of warming ginger and a long finish with sweet spice.

Sustainably sourced Virgin Scottish Oak, grown and harvested in Killearn village - just 5 miles from the distillery.

Naturally high tannins contribute to structure, dryness and warming spice, shaping a robust and characterful spirit.

Nose – aromas of heather honey carry lime, stewed pear, porridge topped with raspberries, chocolate cereal, almond and tropical notes.

Palate – full and balanced with toasted oak, fresh fruits, oat and raisin cookies, vanilla, warming ginger and a hint of nutmeg.

Finish – long and mild with nut, vanilla, light tannins and sweet spice.

Glenfarclas 190, the final release in the Anniversary Trilogy, marks 190 years of distilling, taking consumers on a flavour journey spanning five decades. Reflecting the true full-bodied and robust character of Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, the release is bottled at 51.4% ABV - formerly 90 British proof by the system used to indicate alcohol content for the first 154 years of production at the distillery.

Distillery Manager Callum Fraser said of the new whisky: “Glenfarclas 190 perfectly embodies the flavour of Glenfarclas - from the smooth, rich, velvety feel on the mouth to the flavours of green apples, sherry sweetness, spicy Christmas cake and long finish with a touch of dark chocolate and fresh to***co. By drawing on spirit across five decades, we were able to pull out the fruitier notes from the 70s, rich sherried flavours from the 80s and 90s, and the toffeecaramel notes from casks laid down in the 2000s.”

The release of Glenfarclas 190 follows the Speyside distillery’s anniversary expressions,Glenfarclas 175 and Glenfarclas 185. Presented in bespoke packaging inspired by labels through the decades, the release celebrates the distillery’s rich heritage and tells the story of its long and distinguished history. The liquid was hand-selected by Distillery Manager Callum Fraser, who was named Scotland’s Master Distiller of the Year at the 2026 Icons of Whisky Awards, alongside Managing Director Douglas Belford, who was recognised as a Master of the Quaich in 2025. Together, they selected the casks that make up this release, creating a whisky that reflects both the exceptional quality and traditional character of Glenfarclas.

The Inaugural Release, heralds the beginning of Jackton Distillery’s Single Malt story.

Batch No.1 has been drawn from Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Oloroso casks to create a rich, full-flavoured whisky with warmth, depth and balance.

Nose: fruitcake, fig and sultana

Palate: dark fruits, treacle and roasted nuts

Finish: long and mellow, with toffee, sweet spice and soft oak.

Cask Maturation : 100% Sherry

Nose: It begins with a herbal note of to***co & tomato leaf, followed by fruity aromas of rhubarb, blackberries & orange.

Palate: Notes of chocolate mousse and Medjool dates are revealed on the palate alongside brown sugar and blackcurrants.

Finish: This ends with refreshing mint leaf, salted raisin & hazelnut dark chocolate and a touch of ash.

The sixth and concluding release in The Macallan Harmony Collection, Inspired by Fresh Coconut, showcases the Macallan Whisky Mastery Team’s skill in bringing tropical coconut, zesty lime and tropical fruit notes to the fore.

Matured exclusively in American oak and bottled at 46.3% ABV, it delivers beautifully balanced flavours and aromas in vibrant harmony.

Only first fill American oak casks – Quercus Alba – have been selected to allow qualities naturally present in the wood to emphasise the sense of coconut.

The inclusion of casks that have previously held bourbon and sherry seasoned American oak bring balance and roundness.

Strathearn Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Batch 03

To honour Strathearn’s distinctive flavour profile and the time invested in crafting its rich spirit, Batch 03 has been created with the same careful cask selection as its predecessor—ex-Bourbon, Virgin Oak, and ex-Sherry Oak. However, with a greater emphasis on Sherry cask influence, you can expect a richly sherried nose of toasted Malt and barley sugar, laced with dark honey and warming spices. A palate that reveals buttery biscuit sweetness, layered with chocolate and toffee, and a long finish of oak, cocoa and soft leather.

Batch 03 comprises a vatting of 31 casks, drawn from both inherited stock and those produced under Douglas Laing’s ownership.

Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This year’s release is a vatting of 34% ex-American bourbon barrels, 49% Ruby Port Barriques and 17% Tawny port casks. It's a split of approximately 72% unpeated spirit and 28% peated spirit.

Nose: Red raspberry, golden syrup, freshly cut cedar, crème de violette, home baked soft almond biscuits, preserved Moroccan lemons in salt brine, lightly smoked Christmas spiced ham.

Palate: : Gentle cigar smoke, bramble, lemon thyme, pink peppercorn, piri piri spice, syrup of figs, plum clafoutis, nutmeg.

Finish: Bitter orange, juicy, sea salt, persistently persistent.
