Speyside Distillers are delighted to announce that SPEY Brume Dorée 12-Years-Old has been awarded the gold medal at the Tasting Awards for Scotch Whisky at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) 2026.
The name ‘Brume Dorée’ or ‘Golden Mist’ references the unique toasting methods used on the French oak used for resting which involves an innovative mist-toasting process to gently open the pores of the oak, coaxing out deeper, layered flavours and aromatic complexities.
Every detail of this expression reflects and marries the tradition and innovation of what we do at Speyside Distillers.
We’re also thrilled that, for the second year running, SPEY Chairman’s Choice PX edition has been recognised by the ISC and awarded the silver medal.
