Mersham Stores Update

Villagers!

We are extremely happy to announce that as of TOMORROW you will be able to post parcels with us IN STORE using ROYAL MAIL or DHL Express. As well as pay utility bills using our new PAYPOINT Services.

In the coming weeks we will also be implementing Collect + services therefore becoming a drop off point for eBay, DHL e-Commerce and Royal Mail.

We’d like to thank you for your patience and look forward to sending parcels for you again!

Ladies and Gents our brand new fridge is in and soon to be filled with all our regular stock and more!!

For those visiting and passing through over the past week or so, our offerings have been limited due to our fridge going down in the hot weather. Today we will be receiving deliveries from all our usual suppliers including the very missed Hawkhurst Bread Shed!
Meaning that we will be fully stocked of fresh sandwiches, pasta pots, sausage rolls and more!!

Apologies for the inconvenience and we look forward to gaining back our lunch time rush!

Morning all, sorry no dockers delivery this morning 😢 but come in and we can hopefully sort a substitute sourdough and croissant from Davies for you if you would like. All deliveries back to normal as of Tuesday and going forward.

Totally forgot to reconfirm times for * Kids on a the Loose * tomorrow & 2.15pm.

While it’s been amazing sharing our successes with the village for the past 4 months since our opening I also believe it's incredibly important that we let you know when we are having our harder days too. The shop is for the community and we want it to feel like yours too.

Today has been an extremely quiet day for us and it quickly reminds us how fast things could take a nose dive if we see consistent lower trade. Factors such as the on and off road closure on The Street, drives regular traffic away from our doors.

This is why we cannot stress enough how much we need your custom! We aren't in a bad position yet, but to keep our doors open for years to come, we need support from the village as much as we can.

Many people have kindly donated their books over the last few months to the store book swap to raise money for Pilgrims hospice, our shelves are looking a little low, those who have offered books we would really appreciate 10-15 books to top it back up 📚
