Evening all...

David, our local Evri courier has asked us to inform you all he's on annual leave until Tuesday 28th July.

Unfortunately David may not have a familiar face to fill his boots for the duration, and the patch may or may not be covered by an agency driver.

So.....
- If you are expecting a parcel to be delivered by EVRI and you would still like to receive your deliveries as promptly as possible, you may be best to send your parcels to the "Evri Parcelshop" at Arnside Post Office.

- Alternatively, if you have already placed an order you can divert your parcel to the parcelshop once you have received an email from EVRI on the day of dispatch after 11.30am, which provides you with options to redivert to your local parcelshop for collection.

If you have any questions please feel free to speak to a member of our Post Office Team prior.

Evening all . There have been two reported incidents, one last night and another this afternoon targeting electric bikes. One was torn off the bike rack attached to a car opposite the shop last night and this afternoon there was another attempted theft on the promenade . Please check to make sure that your outbuildings , cars etc are secure.

One of our elderly customers has informed us they have received an automated phone call suggesting they are EVRI.

That they were unable to deliver a parcel and in order to redeliver, make payment over the phone.

Just a reminder, EVRI does not ring their customers, if at all they contact via text or email and would never ask for payment.

This is a fraudulent call. Please hang up and do not engage in making any payments over the phone.

Please feel free to speak to one of the Post Office Team if you need any advice.

This will be reported to EVRI.
