MUD PIES
We’re Mud Foods – an artisan pie maker from the South Downs.
To produce the finest pies and pastries, we source the finest quality ingredients, sourced as locally as possible, such as hand-cut, grass-fed matured beef, free-range chicken and top quality lamb, as well as organic milk and cream from the famous Goodwood Estate – quality without compromise.
Mud Foods has won 129 awards at the last count, mostly at the British Pie Awards and Great Taste Awards, and has a national loyal fan base of Mud pie lovers!
Currently distributing throughout the whole of the South East and London but also throughout most of mainland UK via our distributions partners.

Pastry
At Mud Foods take great pride in crafting the most delicious pies, and it all starts with their handmade buttery shortcrust pastry which is enriched with local free-range eggs. They also make gluten-free pastry to the same high standards, so coeliacs, or those just looking to cut down on gluten, can also enjoy their scrumptious pies.
Meat Filling
Mud Foods uses only the finest, hand cut, locally sourced meat to make our savoury meat pies, including 28-day matured steak from grass-fed cows, free-range British chicken, ham from outdoor-reared pigs, and wild game from the South Downs.
Vegetarian Pies
Vegetarians can enjoy Mud Foods’ range of mouth-watering pies, hand crafted with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients like cheese, our homemade red onion marmalade, roasted vegetables, and feta cheese
