Join us on Wednesday 7th October at the wonderful Meadow in Stockbridge to taste a selection of w**es from our Italian portfolio.

With fizz, white, rosé, reds and sweet w**e to taste, and w**es from under £12 to around £30, there should be w**es for every taste and budget.

Around 7.30pm Federico Firino - who many of you know as “Fed”, the manager of our shop in Stockbridge - will make a short speech drawing attention to his favourite w**es and styles. In short: wonderful w**es and some light education in the charming setting of Meadow Stockbridge.

Join us this Thursday 11th June!

We will be featuring w**es from exciting new growers including Du Bois, Eight Gates, Newton Johnson, Compagniesdrift, Blaauwklippen and Cecilia alongside SVS favourites from Domaine des Dieux, Goedverwacht and Piekenierskloof.

Joining our Cape crusaders will be a range of w**es perfect for summer drinking - including Ch*****ne, Crémant, zesty whites, barbecue red and, of course, all our favourite rosés.

With around 50 w**es on show, there will be everything you need to guarantee a summer of fantastic w**e drinking.

Tickets cost £15 per person and we will be offering 10% off all bottles ordered on the night. One ticket price will be refundable against an order of £150+. Tickets available via link in bio.

We were recently joined by several Burgundy w**emakers for our 2024 En Primeur tasting in Wi******er. Over 60 w**es from the vintage were open and, while the Burgundian summer of 2024 may have been cool, damp and very challenging for the growers, it is clear the resulting w**es have triumphed over the climatic adversity. The best are very good indeed - and there is quality to be found at all levels.

Taken as a whole, the whites are the stars of the vintage. There is no shortage of concentration, fruit or acidity and they will age very well. Anyone who loves classic Burgundian Chardonnay can stock up with confidence.

The reds, however, are not far behind. They will drink early and deliver a huge amount of pleasure; there was plenty of aromatic red berry and cherry fruit on display. The cooler vintage has produced classic red Burgundies that are elegant and refined with modest alcohol levels.
