Pleased to see the results of the two Winter Bird surveys that have now been completed by the British Trust for Ornithology at the vineyard as part of their national bird species monitoring programme.
Over the 4 surveys conducted during the last year, a total of 47 bird species have been identified, many of which are common UK residents or winter visitors, but with a few noteworthy species appearing each time. It is fascinating to see the interaction of weather, habitat and food sources on species diversity and numbers.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and knowledgeable people to join us to help with our programme of Vineyard Tours, Wine Tastings and events this summer as Tasting Room Hosts and Tour Guides.

We have a stunning location, beautiful facilities and fabulous wines which we want to share with as many visitors as possible, teaching them all about English wines and our great local Sussex food.

Work would be on weekends (Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays) with the possibility of additional days during the week if required.

Good wine knowledge is essential. Previous hospitality or similar experience is desirable. Most important is a friendly, welcoming and engaging attitude and an ability and confidence to work independently using your own initiative.
