Another great wine tasting 🥂🍷 Fulham in June. The French red, Les Cerisiers 2016 was the best seller. My fav was the IL Selese Soave, Borell Diehl Riesling, Audarya Vermentino and BD Spätburgunder.

We had a lovely team dinner after at Manuka, Fulham. The food and the wine 🥂🍷 was exceptional. Loved the Godme 🍾🥂, Camminera and Laddoix 🍷.

Made a delicious Thai crayfish curry with noodles back home and paired it with Post House Chenin blanc 2023.

The Chenin bl had aromas of peach 🍑, citrus 🍊 and liquorice. Rich and full bodied palate with delicate flavours of tropical fruit, orange and a minerals. Soft round entry finishing with a long and full mouth feel.

A beautiful gift from my brother and sister-in-law. I will get stuck into the painting when I'm back. They also got me a Black Oystercatcher Sauvignon blanc 2022. A well balanced, cool climate Sauvignon blanc, with a forthcoming nose of gooseberry 🍈, blackcurrant and tropical notes 🍑, complemented by a full palate of minerality and crisp after tones.

Needless to say the wine 🍷 has already been consumed. 🤣

Great Winery staff Christmas party! Lovely company and amazing wines. My fav was the vintage Ledru champagne, JB Becker Spätburgunder and the Mugnier (of course). Thanks as always David! 🥂🥳🍾🍷

Happy International Cabernet Franc day!

Rietvallei JMB Cabernet Franc 2015 🍷

Expressive aromas of black current, plums, pencil shavings and spicy toasted oak on the nose from the 26-month new oak aging.

Another great wine 🍷 tasting at the Winery Fulham with Nacho Leon who makes the incredible Demencia wines from Bierzo, Spain 🇪🇦.

Great dinner after with some incredible wines. Thanks David! My fav was the Guillemot for sure 🤗🍷

We hosted a great cheese 🧀 and wine , 🍷 tasting for a finance firm's clients at the HAC. What a stunning venue! Established in 1537, this venue has so much history. We were in the Queen's 👑 room. I was too focussed and forgot to get more pics of the venue.

We served the following 5 wines (2 whites and 3 red):
1. Great Expectations Colombar 2015 with Gruyère cheese.
2. Gabriëlskloof Elodie (old vine) Chenin Blanc 2015 (V) with mature cheddar.
3. Great Expectations Merlot 2018 with brie.
4. Rietvallei Dark Cin (Cinsaut) 2016 with sheep's milk cheese.
5. Le Roux en Fourie Pinotage 2014 with creamy blue cheese and fresh figs.

The night was a huge success and the Pinotage was a hit as was the Cinsaut and the Chenin bl.
