Abergele Community Shop is open today from 4pm until 6pm.
Come and join us today for a great bargain for £3.5 if already registered and £5 for any new members today.

We are locate in The Hive - Abergele Community Action - Abergele Pensarn Railway Station. You can access any support you may need at The Hive too so pop along and speak to Sam.

Congratulations to our lucky raffle winner last week who chose envelope No. 14 and won an extra item in their next shop from the BLUE shelf by revealing the 4 of Clubs.
The Joker was not revealed this week and so another prize has been added to the Joker Jackpot Hamper with another chance to win these prizes this Friday.
Abergele Community Shop is back open today from 4pm until 6pm.
It is £5 to register for new customers and just £3.50 for existing customers.
Anyone who shops this week will receive a FREE raffle ticket and is automatically entered into the Joker Game. The next ticket will be drawn on Friday.
In your shop you will receive;
2 fridge items
1 freezer item
2 items from our blue shelf (which includes baby, wet/dry pet food and treats, sanitary items, toiletries and beauty products)
5 items from our yellow shelf (staple long life items)

All donations of hygiene products are most welcome in this new collection point in Abergele. All donations will then be distributed by The Hygiene Bank - Abergele to those most in need through their community partners such as The Hive - Abergele Community Action also home to Abergele District Foodbank . Huge thanks to Abergele Conservation Trust for supporting this amazing project.

Delighted to announce our latest collection point inside Yr Hen Ysgol (abergele community centre). Huge thanks to Tracey Brennan for allowing us to have one here...any and all donations of hygiene products are most welcome these will then be distributed to those most in need through our community partners such as The Hive - Abergele Community Action x

Huge Congratulations to ticket holder 284 this week who has won the raffle.
The lucky winner has already been contacted and has now been invited to come and play our Joker Game here in The Hive - Abergele Community Action located in Abergele & Pensarn Railway Station.
In the Joker Jackpot Hamper this week our second prize has been added and if this is not won this week another prize will be added until the Joker is found.
Please read the rules of the game.

The Joker Game
There will be 32 numbered envelopes pinned on the red display board in the Hive by reception. In each of the envelopes will be a playing card. There will be 26 generic cards two jokers and four aces.
Every week a prize will be added to the Jackpot hamper – this means that the jackpot hamper could be anything from 1 item to 31 items depending on when the joker card is chosen.
How to play
Each time you shop you get a raffle ticket which enters you to play the game. This means over the week you have up to 4 chances to be entered.
The raffle will be drawn on a Friday and you have until 6pm on Monday to choose your number to reveal your card!!
Each of the cards have a different prize per week:
• Hearts = an extra fridge item in your shop
• Spade = an extra item from the yellow shelf in your shop
• Club = an extra item from the blue shelf in your shop
• Diamond = an extra freezer item in your shop
• Ace = Instant mystery prize
• Joker = Jackpot winner!!!
Rules
• You must save The Hive’s number in your phone – 07851 982512
• You get one call following the draw on Friday and if you do not answer we will text you
• You have until Monday 6pm to contact The Hive to choose your numbered envelope
• If you do not make contact, the next raffle winner will be drawn, and you will not be able to claim your prize
• You will have until the following Friday (12pm) to come in person to reveal your card and claim your prize
• Once a card has been chosen it will be kept on the display board
• If the joker is not chosen that week, another prize will be added to the jackpot hamper until a joker is chosen
• We cannot guarantee the amount of items in the jackpot hamper

Abergele District Foodbank part of Trussell who are located in The Hive - Abergele Community is back at Asda RHYL today for a final day from 10am until 4pm. We are desperately low in stock, and by donating just one item today, you can make a huge difference to someone who needs our support. We are asking for biscuits, jam, potatoes, peas, carrots, sweetcorn, tins of meat, and fish. Milk, cereal, tea, coffer, juice, and finally, tins of custard, rice pudding, and fruit.

Thank you so much for all your support so far. Let's make the final day.count.

If you are unable to donate food, please consider donating your time as we have volunteering opportunities too.

Asda have been absolutely amazing today supporting our local food drive for Abergele District Foodbank part of Trussell. Huge amount of donations received so far. Thank you to everyone who has been kind enough to support us. We are still here for one last hour so please come and give what you can. One tin from you will make a huge difference to our local community at a time when our support is needed more than ever. Thank you again. Don't forget we are back tomorrow from 10am until 4pm.
